Social Responsibility

We believe that education is the most efficient method in which we can contribute to future generations. Our cooperation with Woodrose School allows us to do this without the usual loss of overhead that frequently occurs in large charitable organisations. We follow the principal “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”

Hope for a brighter future

Land Union is conscious of its responsibility towards the entire global community and in particular to the local communities in which it operates. Since we opened our office in the Philippines, we have made ourselves acutely aware of the economic inequality prevalent in the country. This is due in a large part to the lack of government spending on quality education. This has prompted us to support local schools in subsidising the education of deserving yet underprivileged children.  In 2011, the Land Union Scholarship Fund was established in cooperation with PAREF Woodrose School for Girls. The fund supports the school fees of qualified girls who would otherwise find it financially inaccessible to attend one of the best schools in Manila. In this way, it is hoped that a brighter future can be created for these bright yet underprivileged girls.
